A Yatach hotel card lock system links the front desk to every door in the building:
- Hotel software (PMS) at the front desk issues, cancels and audits guest cards.
- MF encoder, connected by USB, writes the guest card from the hotel software.
- MF card is handed to the guest and opens the room lock; the same card is also read at the building entrance, the lift and the car park.
- Access reader and lift reader control the common areas and the lift floors.
- Car parking readers let a guest enter and leave the car park without a separate remote.
The system runs offline (standalone) on site: the hotel software talks to the encoder over USB, so daily operation does not depend on the network. Card issuing, room number changes and lost-card handling are handled from the front desk.
